Cycling to the Ashes
Oli Broom is going to realize his dream. Within his cycling journey - Cycling to the Ashes - he has three different goals.
- He started on October 10, 2009, with the goal of cycling approximately 25,000km, all by himself - from Lord's Cricket Ground, London to Brisbane Cricket Ground ("The Gabba") in time to see England play against Australia in the first match of the Ashes.
- To play cricket, promote and teach the game in schools and clubs in 28 countries that he crossed on his way to Australia.
- In order to collect $100,000 for his two chosen charities.
